What I Think of Israelis who have no self-respect…
Alright, I’m pretty upset because some Israelis are really psyched that Down is coming to Israel.
However, if you take a gander at what I posted here on my ill-fated blog, Metal Israel , you can see Phil Anselmo, vocalist of said band, busting out a quite clear zeig heil straight from the heart, subsequently followed by a shout of “White Power!” Phil Anselmo is (purportedly) a recovering alcoholic whose constant diatribes in the news against former bandmate Dimebag Darrell are thought to be factors in the latter’s murder onstage by a deranged fan.
It bothers me because I know so many of my friends look up to this guy, as I did before knowing what was up with him. Pantera used to be one of my favorite bands and Phil Anselmo one of my favorite singers. But like, what gets me is that I know that there are quite a few Israelis who wouldn’t care if he got up there and screamed “Death to the kikes” just because he’s Phil Anselmo and they admire the way he sings. There are a lot of other bands that Israelis listen to that are blatantly anti-Semitic such as Burzum, and that is just repulsive because he is an ou-and-out flamboyant Nazi. But these people don’t care. It’s just good music, to them.
The children of Israel have their golden calves, or in this case, I would call it their white pigs. In any case, I don’t understand why quite a few of them don’t have enough self-respect, or at least enough respect for what many of their families went through, to not have anything to do with this band and definitely not pay the almost $100 ticket price that is being charged for what they think is going to be the time of their lives. It’s sickening and upsetting, and makes me wonder what the hell they think they are alive for.

Actually Burzum admitted that the nazi thing was just for show and he doesn’t currently relate to that idiology. If you research it…he’s not into Viking/Paganism. I’m not saying it’s ok, but time to move on with Burzum.
And are you really surprised? Look at how the left-wing Israeli fools act…they hate Jews,god, and Israel as much as any Nazi..so why would they care if their metal “god” does also?

I don’t understood how people can conveniently forget someone is racist or anti-Semitic and I think you’re right that a lack of self-respect is probably the reason. Granted, we don’t all need to be like Al Sharpton and make a public spectacle out of every dumb thing someone says or does but I do think Jews actively supporting people who are anti-Semites is a seriously embarrassing and disturbing problem.
Dani, is Vikernes (Burzum) still in jail?
Also, this is something that has nothing to do with religion. Anyone even not halachically Jewish with a drop of Jewish blood should be like WTF.

Vikernes is still in jail. he tried to escape last time he got a limited vacation, they caught him driving in a stolen car with a fake ID. now they wont approve any more vacations for him. he is now about 35…

i don’t understand what’s wrong with going to down show phil has changed his clean and when your drunk and addicted to heavy drugs it’s make you a diffrent person phil always finished a whole bottle of jack daniels by the end of the show and the clip that you have uploaded just saying that he proud to be white and saying because black people has suffered from racism in the past it doesn’t mean the can used it i’m not white and not racist but i’m here for the music and phil is awesom singer so stop trying change people mind we have free will and if we want to see down then will go and thats it. i’m jew and proud to be jew and there so many jews over here that are embarrassed of being jews thhat there decision and we leave in “democratic” country we have so many problems in this fuckin country that phil coming to israel is minor so that your opinion and thats mine

first of all, you’re a a very smart woman - the reason I’m making a big deal about this is because of the same reason you’re pissed off at Olmert. - (the clip with the zeig heiling was what pissed me off specifically, I kinda agree with him about the white pride shit)
however, this is what he is and I don’t think stopping alcohol changed it, you have the right to see who you want, or like who you want, or hate who you want, and so do i. is my right to show people - hey, this is the guy you’re honoring and say what I said above. zeh hoo
